Modern technologies and engineering techniques can combine with classic engineering principles to resolve the challenge of maintaining classic aircraft.

The key to the accurate reproduction of parts is through reverse engineering. This is the process of taking an existing part, using 3D optical scanning and other techniques to reproduce the geometry of the part, creating a 3D CAD model and then re-manufacturing the part as it was originally intended.
